Sport at Te Aratai College

Te Aratai College excels in recreational and competitive sports ranging from traditional school sports to Ki o Rahi. We recognise that sport encourages life-learning skills requiring learners to set goals, work as part of a team, and develop leadership. Time management, commitment, persistence and resilience are required – all critical coping skills.

At a competitive level, Te Aratai college offers the opportunity for individuals and teams to compete in our local, regional and national competitions.

At a social level, participating in sports gives the opportunity to build stronger connections with peers, our kura and the community.
